GLEN BURNIE, Md. — The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has changed its story on what happened during a Dec. 24 nonfatal shooting of a man in Glen Burnie, following new details from local law enforcement.
A statement on X from Dec. 24 said that Tiago Alexandre Sousa-Martins, an undocumented Portuguese immigrant, was shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers after attempting to run them over with a van. No officers were injured.
