BROOKLYN PARK, Md. – On January 16, 2026, deputies responded to a domestic-related incident in the 5000 block of Kramme Avenue in Brooklyn Park. During the altercation, the suspect, Alexander David Thomas, is alleged to have thrown a knife at and strangled his girlfriend.
As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Thomas. On January 21, 2026, a separate Circuit Court warrant was issued for violation of probation and additional drug-related charges.
Deputies located Thomas at the incident address and placed him under arrest without incident. He was transported to the Jennifer Road Detention Center (JRDC), where he was served with all outstanding warrants. Thomas remains held at JRDC on a no-bail status…
