Blood streaks on the floor: Man who shot victim in Airbnb had been designated the beneficiary of his $300,000 life insurance policy two weeks previously, cops said.

Bryan Alberto Cazares, 28, of Beltsville, Maryland, was arrested on January 23, 2026, and charged with first- and second-degree murder in the August 2025 shooting death of 29-year-old Wilson Estuardo Marroquin Caceros. He remains held without bail at Jennifer Road Detention Center.

Crime Timeline

On August 17, 2025, Cazares and Caceros, who knew each other, were at an Airbnb on the 1600 block of Fullerton Road in Edgewater, Anne Arundel County, where police believe Cazares fatally shot him. Around 2:50 a.m. the next day, security footage captured a red Jeep Cherokee—owned by Caceros’ wife—pulling up near the 2700 block of Manokin Street in Baltimore; the driver dumped the body, which had multiple upper-body gunshot wounds.
