Baltimore City Public School (BCPS) provided updates to the Francis Scott Elementary/Middle School (FSK) community last Thursday during a town hall at Digital Harbor High School. The school has been closed since January 20th due to mold remediation. During this time, students have been receiving virtual instruction.
FSK will relocate to the Thurgood Marshall Building at 5001 Sinclair Ln. in the Northeast Baltimore on Wednesday, February 4th. The original relocation date was Monday, February 2nd.
The mold issue came to light when contractors were addressing a leaking HVAC unit in a first-floor hallway and discovered mold and moisture behind the baseboards.
