Faith Leach, Chief Administrative Officer for the Mayor’s Office says Baltimore is now in what she calls, “Phase 2” of cleanup and recovery following the winter storm.
City crews have switched out heavy snow equipment for more nimble vehicles to clear as many sidewalks, bus stops and alleyways as possible. Leach says accumulated snow and ice prompted the city to rent a snow melter, now operating near Ravens Stadium, to speed up removal efforts.
