A 46-year-old man was taken into custody early yesterday after allegedly assaulting two Baltimore police officers inside an east Baltimore residence. The officers were transported to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the confrontation unfolded around 3:15 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Calvert Street.
