Glen Burnie man facing DUI, weapons, drug & open-container charges after traffic stop

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WBFF) — A Glen Burnie man is facing charges after a traffic stop in Brooklyn Park on early Friday morning led to a DUI arrest and the discovery of a loaded handgun and suspected drugs, police said.

According to police, officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation about 12:45 a.m. Feb. 14, in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Hammonds Lane.

Officers said they detected evidence that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence and also observed a loaded handgun on the driver’s seat…
