Anne Arundel County police are searching for a suspect after an assault involving a handgun was reported Saturday evening at the Soda Pop Shop in Glen Burnie.
Officers responded at about 6:20 p.m. February 28, 2026, to the Soda Pop Shop in the 300 block of Hospital Drive for a reported assault. Police said a verbal altercation began inside the store between an adult male customer and juveniles.
According to investigators, the situation escalated when the man produced a handgun, pointed it at the juveniles, and struck one victim with the firearm. Police said the suspect then left the area on foot and was last seen walking in the 1800 block of Crain Highway South.
