MARCH 3 POLICE BLOTTER: Multiple arrests and ongoing investigations

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department has released details on several criminal incidents occurring across the county over the past week, ranging from daylight robberies to residential burglaries. While several suspects have already been taken into custody, investigators are still seeking information regarding unsolved cases in Middle River and Essex.

Violent Encounters and Armed Robberies

Police responded to two separate robberies and an assault between February 26 and February 28, resulting in multiple arrests.

  • Parkville/Hillendale Assault: On the morning of February 28, officers were called to the 1200 block of Halstead Road following a verbal altercation. Authorities state a subject displayed a weapon during the dispute. The suspect was apprehended at the scene and taken into custody.
  • Juvenile Targeted in Middle River: On February 26, at approximately 7:13 p.m., a juvenile was robbed of personal property in the 800 block of Thimbleberry Road. Police report that two “known suspects” used a weapon during the commission of the crime.
  • Rosedale Robbery: Earlier that same day, at 1:52 p.m., a robbery occurred in the 5200 block of King Avenue. Police have since identified and charged a suspect in connection with this incident.

Burglaries Under Investigation

While arrests were made in the recent robberies, detectives are still looking for leads in two separate burglary cases from earlier in the week.
