A Jewish girls’ school in Baltimore was placed on soft lockdown after reports of shots being fired near it. The shooting injured two police officers, according to the Baltimore Police Department and local media.
The department said in a statement posted to X that it was on the scene of an active shooter incident in the 6200 block of Park Heights Avenue near Bnos Yisroel (BNY), the all-girls’ Jewish high school on the same block.
“An officer has been shot & transported to Shock Trauma,” the statement reads. “A suspect was also shot. Avoid the surrounding areas. More information will be provided as it becomes available.”…
