64-year-old pleads guilty in Johnson Square Apartments killing; life sentence expected

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 64-year-old man is expected to face life in prison after fatally shooting a man at The Johnson Square Apartments back in November 2024, the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City announced Friday.

Tyrone Epps pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence for the deadly shooting of Paul Lee.

Epps’s sentencing is scheduled for June 8, 2025. He will face a life sentence, suspending no less than 30 years and no more than 50 years, according to officials…
