Some city leaders remain silent after being pressed on public safety at Inner Harbor

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Days after someone opened fire during a large disturbance at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, no arrests have been made, even as city leaders face renewed questions about public safety in the popular waterfront area.

The Baltimore Police Department said officers were within earshot of the incident and responded immediately. In a written statement about safety moving forward, the department said, “Officers will continue to patrol in and around the area to disrupt criminal activity.”
