A 44-year-old man accused of firing a weapon at a group of women outside his house is held without bail after Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Kendra Y. Ausby agreed with the state’s claim that “the charges were pretty serious.”
Norman Ransom is charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and multiple gun violations in connection with the shooting, which occurred on Oct. 26, 2025, on the 2600 block of Garrett Avenue. Police were alerted to the scene by a ShotSpotter notification. Upon arrival, officers encountered a group of women who accused Ransom of shooting at them and attempted to leave the area.
