REISTERSTOWN, MD—Health officials in Baltimore County are warning residents to take precautions after a cat found in the Reisterstown area tested positive for rabies last week.
The Baltimore County Department of Health confirmed the domestic shorthair tortoiseshell cat tested positive on Thursday, April 2. Baltimore County Animal Services has already identified one potential human exposure linked to the animal, which was discovered in the vicinity of Dover Road.
