Baltimore considering truck parking ban in all city neighborhoods

The city of Baltimore is considering a truck parking ban across all neighborhoods in the city as part of a new ordinance.

The ordinance would prohibit commercial vehicles from parking along city streets in neighborhoods in Baltimore, Maryland for more than an hour. The issue was discussed at a meeting on Monday, April 6th.

According to Fox4Baltimore, Baltimore City Council believes this change would help to reduce noise, congestion, and safety risks in the affected neighborhoods. Vehicles related to active work at residences would be exempt from the ban, but would only be permitted within a one block radius of the work site.
