TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Revenue Authority has launched a new initiative offering $1 flat-rate evening parking at several garages in downtown Towson to bolster local businesses and reduce street-level traffic congestion.
The program, announced this week, applies to vehicles entering participating garages after 5 p.m. and exiting by 4 a.m. the next day. The designated $1 rate is available at the Library Parking Facility on East Towsontown Boulevard, the Baltimore Avenue Parking Facility on West Susquehanna Avenue, and the Tolbert Parking Facility on Ware Avenue.
Prior to the change, garage rates were set at 2 dollars per hour for the first three hours and 1 dollar for each subsequent hour.
