MARYLAND — They came to Ocean City looking for Harleys.
A sprawling motorcycle theft ring spread from BikeFest 2024 to the Baltimore area and at least two other states, with members of a criminal enterprise stealing expensive Harley-Davidsons to keep, sell, strip for parts or use in more thefts, according to charging documents.
Investigators said the ring was not subtle. Members posted on social media, wore Sin City Deciples gear and displayed “1% diamonds” on their clothes and motorcycles to promote the club as “one of the 1% of motorcycle clubs who engage in outlaw behavior.”…
