PERRY HALL, MD—At its meeting on May 21, the Baltimore County Council passed legislation sponsored by Councilman David Marks that requires any new development at the Ebenezer Road/Philadelphia Road area to be evaluated by the Design Review Panel. This panel includes professional architects.
Any future development here will also need to provide widening along Philadelphia Road and Ebenezer Road (21128). Councilman Marks is also aggressively pushing to complete the long-delayed Mohrs Lane Bridge connection to reduce congestion in this area.
“Future development in the Ebenezer/Philadelphia Road should be of high quality and visually pleasing,” said Councilman Marks. “That includes better landscaping and design features that make this area more appealing than we have seen elsewhere.”…
