ELLIOTT CITY, Md. (DC News Now) — Firefighters were called to a basement fire on Saturday in Ellicott City.
The Howard County Fire and EMS responded to the 7900 block of Brightlight Place for reports of a fire in the home’s basement.

The residents were able to escape the home safely before firefighters arrived.
