BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A runway at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport reopened on Wednesday afternoon after a plane experienced issues with its landing gear, forcing it to shut down.
A spokesperson at the airport confirmed that just before 2 p.m., a small general aviation aircraft landed with landing gear issues and is currently disabled on the runway. It was not a commercial flight.
