BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Latrell Trumble’s family says he was known for his smile. Trumble, 22, was killed in a shooting Saturday at an apartment complex on North Ardenwood Drive. Four others were injured, including a teenager.
“This big old smile that he have on his face, all the time every time you see him he’d have a big old smile,” said Lacey Trumble.
Family speaks three days later
Sitting with his mother, brother and sister, the family’s grief was evident three days after the shooting. Sherman Trumble described the family as “kind of numb,” adding, “Right now its just processing, but through time we will heal but right now its just – it hurts a lot.”
No arrests have been made. Latrell’s family says he was an innocent bystander, sitting outside eating food when he was killed…
