Every summer, students work to further their experience in their fields of choice through jobs or internships. LSU sophomore Mary Macie Ezell decided to use her internship for impact, turning a public relations resume-builder into an app to help students find lost items around campus.
When Ezell, 19, was looking for an internship for the summer, she stumbled upon Base 44. Focused on educating students on building helpful platforms through plain language, Base 44 gave Ezell a chance to build a community-powered lost and found platform for LSU students, now called TigerFind. Ezell launched the platform on Aug. 24.
