Ascension Parish woman charged after crash that injured two on interstate exit ramp

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Prairieville woman was arrested on multiple charges in connection with a Monday two-vehicle crash on I-10 East at Highland Road.

Destine Nores, 28, was charged with reckless operation of a vehicle, violations of registration provisions, insurance required, owner to secure registration, vehicular negligent injuring, operating while impaired; first offense, and driver must be licensed.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash scene around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 7. During the investigation, deputies learned that Nores was driving an Acura TLX that rear-ended a vehicle that was waiting at a red light on the I-10 East exit ramp at Highland Road…
