Meet LSU alumnus John Newman, “The Duckman,” who is spending his retirement feeding the critters of Baton Rouge.
Newman, 66, began visiting the ducks when his late wife was placed on hospice care in June 2022. Now, he makes a daily trip to Wampold Park, Campus Lake, Stanford near Hyacinth and City Park Lake.
