From TikTok mystery to solo act, this LSU student has found a unique place on campus to jam out on his guitar and take a break from college stress.
Ryan Monier, a junior construction management major, found himself at the center of a viral TikTok video posted on Aug. 22. However, the video didn’t feature Monier himself; instead the video centered around the sound of his guitar as he played “The Star-Spangled Banner” from a distance, nowhere to be seen.
The original poster, freshman music education major Kaden Billiot, said he was filming the video so his mom could hear the LSU Memorial Tower bell chime when the sound of the guitar cut through the night. The unexpectedness of the situation was funny to Billiot, so he sent the video to his friend…
