BRUSLY — Brusly police are actively looking for the driver of a silver Mercedes SUV who struck a golf cart carrying two 13-year-old girls near Alexander Park on Saturday and left the scene without stopping.
Assistant Chief Tom Southon confirmed the incident to WBR Independent, describing it as a hit-and-run involving a silver Mercedes SUV and a golf cart operated by two 13-year-old girls on West Main Street. Southon said the department is actively looking for the driver. No injuries were reported.
A family member gave a more detailed account, telling WBR Independent that the two girls were riding the golf cart near the park along West Saint Francis Street when the cart turned onto Elaine Street from West Saint Francis Street.
