Former Notre Dame and LSU coach Brian Kelly is being strongly linked to one potential head coach opening.
Bruce Feldman of The Athletic suggested Kelly could be a good fit at Rutgers if and when that job becomes available. The job is currently held by Greg Schiano, but he is firmly on the hot seat after an 0-2 start and losses to UMass and Boston College.
Kelly is “very motivated” to get back into coaching, and does have some ties to the school. Rutgers president Bill Tate and athletic director Keli Zinn both worked with Kelly at LSU, and the Boston native would be comfortable working in the Northeast…
