BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Drivers in Baton Rouge are now paying an average of $3.99 per gallon for gasoline after prices jumped nearly 11 cents in the past week, according to GasBuddy.
GasBuddy’s survey of 361 stations in Baton Rouge found average prices increased 10.9 cents per gallon over the last week. Prices are now 30.6 cents higher than a month ago and $1.31 higher than this time last year.

The increase means Baton Rouge drivers are paying significantly more than they were a year ago. On Sept. 21, 2025, the city’s average stood at $2.67 per gallon.
Prices also vary considerably depending on where drivers fill up. GasBuddy said that the cheapest gasoline in Baton Rouge on Sunday was $3.75 per gallon. The most expensive was $4.65. That’s a 90-cent difference per gallon…
