JENNINGS, La. (KPLC) – Two people are facing felony charges after leading Jennings police on a high-speed chase along Interstate 10 in a carjacked vehicle Tuesday night.
Around 6 p.m., officers were alerted to a carjacking in East Baton Rouge involving two armed suspects and a stolen maroon Dodge Charger Scat Pack.
Police soon spotted the Charger traveling on I-10 near mile the La. 97 exit in Jennings.
When officers tried to pull the car over, the driver accelerated and fled, triggering a chase that ended when the car lost control and crashed just west of the La. 26 exit in Jennings…
