BATON ROUGE – Louisiana state attorney general Liz Murrill filed to dismiss the federal lawsuit filed by the Southeastern Conference against LSU amid student-athlete eligibility issues.
“Defendants respectfully request an Order of this Honorable Court dismissing all of the SEC’s claims against Defendants in this lawsuit, with prejudice, and at the SEC’s cost,” the court filing in Alabama federal court states.
