BATON ROUGE — Two people were arrested for cruelty to the elderly following the death of a 74-year-old woman on Friday, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a call for a deceased person at a residence along Shady Bluff Drive on Thursday, according to arrest records, where they located a deceased 74-year-old woman.
Deputies noted that the woman, who was only clothed in a severely soiled diaper and a red shirt at the time, had a large bed sore on her back that exposed multiple bones and tissue, leading them to believe that she was malnourished…
