We already knew Kentucky vs. LSU would be a night game, but now we have a kickoff time. The Cats vs. the Tigers will start at 7 p.m. ET. It will air on ESPN.
Both teams are currently 3-1, 1-1 in SEC play. LSU rebounded from its loss at Ole Miss with a 35-6 win over Texas A&M. Lane Kiffin’s Tigers are now No. 11 in the AP Poll, while A&M dropped out. After a rough outing in Oxford, quarterback Sam Leavitt had a big night, completing 17-of-23 passes for 312 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Remember, there were a few days in early January when it looked like Leavitt might come to Kentucky; now, he’ll be lined up across from the Cats at Kroger Field. This weekend, Kentucky heads to South Carolina, while LSU hosts No. 16 Mississippi State.
The LSU game is also Homecoming. With Keeneland running and a night kickoff scheduled, plenty of fans will attempt to do both. If you don’t have a hotel or dinner reservations for that weekend already, good luck…
