A Baton Rouge woman is wanted for attempting to steal more than $1,000 worth of various cuts of meat by concealing them in water-filled cases and tote bags, police said.
The 63-year-old, Pamela Johnson, tried to steal 11 racks of lamb, two beef briskets, six steaks, three ribeyes and six bathrobes from the Sam’s Club on 10444 North Mall Drive on September 26.
She was unsuccessful in her heist and abandoned the cart and items after an employee prevented her from leaving and stealing $1348 worth of merchandise, police said…
