DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) – A 34-year-old Denham Springs man died after a single-vehicle crash on LA 16 near Rolling Acres Drive in Livingston Parish, according to Louisiana State Police Troop A.
Troopers began investigating shortly before 4 p.m. on Oct. 10, 2026.
How the crash happened
The preliminary investigation found a 2005 Toyota Sequoia was traveling south on LA 16 at a high rate of speed. While attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve, the Sequoia traveled off the right side of the road, overturned multiple times, and struck a culvert, troopers said.
The driver was unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle, according to troopers. He sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later died…
