BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair returns Thursday and runs through Nov. 1 at 16072 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge.
Opening night specials
Organizers are kicking off the fair with opening night specials. Admission is $10, or $25 for admission plus all rides.
Weekday pricing
For weekdays, Monday through Thursday, prices and specials vary by day. Tickets must be purchased at the gate.
Weekend pricing
For weekends — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — tickets can be purchased online and are valid any day of the fair. Gate admission is $15 for anyone 48 inches tall and over. Gate admission plus an all-rides wristband is $50.
Fair hours
Fair hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Bag and weapons policy
Organizers remind fairgoers of the clear bag policy. Only clear bags no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches will be allowed inside.
Both the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair and BREC follow this policy: “No weapons will be allowed inside the fairgrounds, including Concealed Carry Permits.”
