BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – FMOL Health said it is the first in Louisiana to administer Papzimeos, a newly available, FDA-approved immunotherapy for recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, or RRP. The disease is caused by certain strains of HPV.
More than 42 million Americans have a form of HPV, according to the CDC. For a small fraction, it leads to RRP.
