Some good news arose out of the recent freezing weather as several pets found their permanent homes after temporarily being fostered by local families. Cara’s House, which serves as Ascension Parish’s animal shelter, posted photos of foster freeze success stories, including dogs who were adopted after more than 400 days in the Sorrento facility.
