In deadly Baton Rouge drunk driving crash, woman gets suspended sentence in plea deal

A Baton Rouge woman who was drunk when she caused a fatal Memorial Day crash nearly three years ago will not get prison time as part of a plea agreement. Bryanna Lynette St. Andrew, 43, pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide on Sept. 25. According to arrest reports, St. Andrew’s blood alcohol content was .182 – more than twice the legal limit – when she made a left turn in front of another vehicle at the intersection of Choctaw Drive and North Foster Drive the evening of May 31, 2021.
