Every day, Terry Landry wanders out to his workshop just outside Clinton, picks up a tool and reconnects with the past. Landry has been a full-time carpenter since 1987, making cabinets and furniture to order. Whenever he starts work on a new project, he quickly finds himself turning to his extensive collection of hand tools – planes, chisels, sometimes hand saws – many of which are more than 100 years old.
