BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The local area will get a chance to dry out through the work/school week. You might run into a patch or two of light fog early Monday, but we shouldn’t see widespread visibility issues. Make sure to dress warmly as morning lows will dip into the upper 30°s to low 40°s. High pressure will remain in control, keeping drier air in place. A weak, backdoor cold front will arrive on Wednesday, but won’t produce any rain. Temperatures will take a brief, slight dip mid-week before seeing a warming trend to end the week.
