BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office confirmed that they were called to the 4800 block of Evangeline Street around 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28. The coroner’s office said the death of George Johnson, 36, of Louisiana was declared a homicide after multiple gunshot wounds.
