BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Deputies are investigating after a man was found dead in the Comite River on Saturday morning, Feb. 3. The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office said a visitor at the Comite River Park on Hooper Road noticed the body in the water shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday and alerted deputies.
