A man found floating dead Saturday in the Comite River was identified as the driver in a fatal hit-and-run a week earlier, State Police said. The body of Humberto Vasquez, 38, address unknown, was recovered from the Comite River on Saturday morning by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office maritime team.
