A star-studded group of elite recruits descended on Eugene this past weekend for Junior Day as Dan Lanning and the Ducks try to sign another top-tier class in the 2025 cycle.
One of the headliners that made the trip was 5-Star Duncanville (Tex.) wide receiver Dakorien Moore , a verbal commit to LSU. He spoke with Ducks Digest about the trip and the latest in his recruitment.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound wide receiver has been committed Tigers since August, but the relationships he’s developed with the Oregon staff have made it hard to stay away.
“They’ve been showing me a lot of love since the beginning actually. I really feel like it was real genuine love,” Moore said of why he took the trip. “I feel like when it comes to Coach (Junior) Adams and Coach (Dan) Lanning I can really like trust him or what they’re saying.”
Among his highlights from the trip was spending with other recruits on campus and soaking up the football scene in Eugene.
“Just being around the players that was also being recruited down there. You got Dallas Wilson who’s committed there. You had Jordon Davison from Cali. It was a lot of good recruits down there that they were also showing love to. It’s unexplainable man. It was a lot that they showed us and it’s really just a different place down there.”
