Baton Rouge Feb 13 Weekly Crime Report: 208 Incidents and 29 Crime Stories
During the last week, Baton Rouge witnessed a total of 208 reported crime incidents. The data shows that the most common type of crime was theft, with 86 cases reported, accounting for approximately 41% of the total crimes. This was followed by assault, which had 30 cases, making up around 14% of the total. Other crimes were next in line, with 28 incidents reported. Both vandalism and burglary had 21 cases each, contributing to 10% of the total crimes each. Arrests were made in 11 cases, while robbery was reported 5 times. Domestic-related incidents were comparatively lower, with only 4 cases. The least common types of crimes were disturbance and trespass, each with just 1 case reported. The high number of theft cases raises concerns about property safety in the place, while the number of assaults indicates a worrying level of violence.
