BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A mother from Metairie is furious after she says her adult son, who has special needs, was abandoned by those she trusted to take care of him. The caregiver allegedly left him inside his apartment back in March, allowing him to slip out of the apartment and wander the streets of Baton Rouge. Pamela Eames says her trust was violated.
