Scattered Storms Return Today with a Low Risk for Severe Weather

Much warmer and muggy weather in Acadiana this morning as temperatures are in the low to mid-70s. Scattered showers and storms become more likely as we progress through the day as rain chances increase to 50-60%. The afternoon won’t be as hot with highs in the mid-80s. More scattered rain is expected tomorrow.

The severe risk and flash flooding threat should remain low. Heavy rains are possible and a few storms could produce damaging winds or hail. Any tornado risk is slim.
