WEST BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A raffle has been created to help support the family of a pregnant woman killed during a storm on May 13, 2024. Kristin Browning, 31, was killed after a tree fell on her home during the severe weather that hit last month. State officials said she was nine months pregnant, and the fetus did not survive. The sheriff’s office said an adult male and a five-year-old were also in the trailer and were taken to a local hospital.
