New Orleans, LA – Heavy rainfall continues to soak New Orleans and surrounding areas, with parts of Louisiana experiencing significant precipitation. As of Friday morning, the National Weather Service reported the heaviest rain totals around Houma, Slidell, and portions of metro Baton Rouge. Rainfall totals in some areas have exceeded 4 inches, with localized regions receiving up to 6 inches since Wednesday.
