BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Two recent Scotlandville Magnet High School graduates are on their way to stardom, taking social media by storm one note at a time.

Austyn and Ayden Ligon, or “Dem Ligon Boiz,” are twins who have gone viral on social media for their singing.

“We’ve been doing music since we were three and it’s always been a passion of ours,” said Austyn.

Captivating the church congregation at a young age, the pair said music is their place of comfort where it all makes sense and gospel is where it all started.

“Our first time singing was at church and just the reaction, everybody was just like ‘Oh my God’,” said Ayden.

The song that took the church by storm was “Encourage Yourself” by Donald Lawrence. Their taste in music has evolved and so has their talent. One TikTok video has boosted exposure for the twins. The video alone has made the two an overnight viral social media sensation, and people can’t seem to get enough.
